Leonard Cohen (1934-2016) was a Canadian singer-songwriter, poet, and novelist. He was known for his poetic lyrics, iconic songs and baritone voice and released more than twenty albums of folk-rock and pop music. In 1960 he bought a summer house in the Greek island of Hydra and in 1984 he composed the beautiful song “Dance Me to the End of Love”, following a typical Greek folk dance path.
